Our Story
Located in the heart of Encampment, Wyoming, formally named Grand Encampment during the 1820s copper mining boom, The DiVide offers traditional dishes with flair and a jovial atmosphere, perfect for a stop on your journey through the west. Our historic location was once the Englehart Building, which housed a hardware, lumber and furniture store, as well as a mortuary. According to a 1914 Wyoming Business Directory, Englehart's conducted undertakings and embalmings.
Though the copper mining boom ended and a large portion of the population of Encampment moved on, we’re still here! At The DiVide, we strive to honor this amazing history by offering a menu of dishes inspired by the culture and scenery of the area. Our menu is full of flavors and ingredients that pay tribute to the town’s past, present, and future. Come explore the history of Encampment while enjoying a delicious meal at The DiVide.
